As a Project Accountant for the NEPCARD project, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Maintaining Updated Project Accounts: Keeping track of all financial transactions related to the project and ensuring that the accounts are up-to-date.
2. Safe Custody of Documents: Safely storing original contractual documents, bank documents, including cheque books, and account ledgers.
3. Guiding Store Incharge: Assisting the Store Incharge in maintaining records of construction materials received and issued, coordinating with the contractor’s storekeeper.
4. Processing Bills: Ensuring that all bills related to the project are processed in a timely manner.
5. Establishing Liaison: Building and maintaining a close relationship with the project contractor to facilitate smooth financial operations.
