Job Description
The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will lead all commercial activities at PTV. This includes:
- Sales
- Marketing
- Business development
- Revenue generation
The CCO will work closely with various teams to align commercial goals with the company’s vision and report directly to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the executive management team, the CCO will:
- Develop and implement commercial strategies that align with PTV’s corporate objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities in traditional and digital markets to ensure sustainable revenue.
- Lead and manage sales teams to maximize revenue from advertising, sponsorships, partnerships, and syndication.
- Develop new business ventures and strategic alliances, especially in digital media and international markets.
- Oversee negotiations with advertisers and media buyers to secure high-value deals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance PTV’s brand and increase audience engagement.
- Conduct market research to monitor trends and competition, using data to refine sales strategies.
- Introduce innovative ideas for new markets, including mobile and OTT platforms.
- Lead and mentor the commercial, sales, and marketing teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Job Specification
Qualification:
- A minimum of 16 years of education in Marketing or Business Management.
Experience:
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in the media industry.
Skills:
- Proven experience in developing and executing commercial strategies for revenue growth.
- Expertise in both broadcast and digital media.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Analytical mindset to use data for decision-making.
Competencies:
- Strategic vision and leadership.
- Business acumen and financial understanding.
- Results-oriented and revenue-driven approach.
- Relationship-building skills with stakeholders.
Age Limit:
- Candidates should be between 50 to 55 years old as of the closing date of the advertisement.
