Position:
- Deputy Manager (Legal)
Required Qualification & Experience:
- Qualification: Candidates must have a minimum qualification of Bachelor’s in Law (LLB) or Master in Law (LLM) from reputable HEC recognized universities.
- Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years of experience, including 2 years in the power sector, with expertise in corporate law, regulatory affairs, or commercial matters.
- Age Limit: Up to 45 years
Responsibilities:
- Recommend course schedules approved by the authority.
- Maintain performance records of advocates and engage courses based on performance.
- Prepare monthly progress reports.
- Seek legal opinions from the Legal Advisor when necessary.
- Assist the Chief Law Officer in all legal and labor-related matters.
Reporting Channel:
- The Deputy Manager (Legal) reports to the Chief Law Officer (CCO) of GEPCO.
Terms & Conditions:
- Competitive package based on market standards.
- Initially, the appointment will be made on a contract basis for a period of 3 years, renewable based on satisfactory performance.
